Eremitage St. Petersburg

Image
The incredible Eremitage is such a huch museum of so much wealth and abundance. It was impossible to see everything and my Argentinien friend of the hostel and I have to leave after a couple of hours. Otherwise our heads beginn to explode of to much stuff to see.

Catherine -, Alexander - and Pavlovsk Park

Image
Probably the most beautiful Parks I ever seen. But the queue to the inside was so full and crowded that I have to wait for hours with the other tourists, to get to the inside to see the Amber Room . So I decided to just enjoy the walk trough the gigantic park area. The above were pictures from the Catherine Park. Now are coming some of the Alexander Park which is directly next to it but not so perfectly groomed. Just a few Kilometers apart is the very relaxing Park of Pavlovsk. The Pavlovsk - and also the Alexander Park are more natural with some possibilities for Sport activation.

Hitting North

Camping somewhere between Moscow and St.Petersburg. But the Mosquitoes are driving me crazy I never expected that Russia is such a swampy landscape. In the first place I just passt St.Petersburg to go to Vyborg Castle. Here I'm sleeping directly at the Baltic sea and I had the beach there completely fore me alone. No one for Kilometers to the right and no one to the left. Back driving back from Castle I was driving on a nice curved street to St.Petersburg.

Beautiful Metro Stations

In each station were Anya and I were setting up my tripod we get told no you are not allowed. So I was getting quicker to set up my tripod to get the shoot finished before we are getting advised that it is not allowed. But than in the last station they weren't so friendly and so we didn't not just get a advice they also showed us the exit and we had to walk back home. For our luck it wasn't such a far walk.
